About

Restore, Reuse, Repurpose

Tim Gregory is a native of Columbus, Georgia and a 99' graduate of the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business.  For the past 15 years, Tim has been developing strong working relationships with an incredibly talented pool of sub-contracters and skilled tradesmen that have been vital to the success of TG Gregory Inc.  His keen eye for envisioning spacial possibilities and his signature hands-on approach have given him an edge that his customers find appealing.

Tim’s early experience in the business was gained through renovating properties he had purchased to restore and rent.  Serving as contractor, designer and builder on these projects gave Tim the freedom to create as well as the opportunity to learn, experiment, and hone his skills.  Through this work, he developed a deep appreciation for the wooden windows and doors, and the general architecture that give a well-crafted house its charm and life.  Tim realized it makes more sense to restore these original wood components, rather than replacing them with the modern replicas which often deny an older house its original artistry.

Tim's interest in restoring, reusing and repurposing salvaged pieces is now the signature aesthetic people have come to expect from a TG Gregory project.  His craftmanship has gained him the trust to work on some of the South’s most notable National Register historic residences and landmarks, including the Pemberton house located in Columbus, Ga.  He also recently collaborated with the Kohler Foundation in their complete restoration of Pasaquan, a folk art environment, created by St. EOM, in Buena Vista, Georgia.

While known mostly for his custom work, residential remodeling, and renovation, lately Tim has been extending his expertise into designing and building custom furniture, light fixtures and cabinetry out of many of his reclaimed relics.
